MAG.ONLINE — Online Payment Solutions OÜ

1. General Provisions

This Payment Policy governs all financial transactions carried out through the MAG.ONLINE platform. By making a payment through the Platform, you agree to these terms.

2. MAG.ONLINE Credits System

2.1 What are Credits

MAG.ONLINE Credits are prepaid service units used exclusively to pay for consultations and services on the MAG.ONLINE platform. Credits do not constitute electronic money, a payment instrument, or a store of value within the meaning of the EU Electronic Money Directive (2009/110/EC).

2.2 Important Restrictions on Credits

  • Credits may ONLY be used to pay for services on the MAG.ONLINE platform
  • Credits are NOT redeemable for cash
  • Credits CANNOT be transferred to other users
  • Credits do not expire unless otherwise specified in promotional terms

2.3 Topping Up the Credits Balance

Clients top up their Credits balance by depositing real funds through the platform's payment systems. Top-ups are available in various currencies (EUR, USD, GBP, UAH, and others). Deposited funds are converted into Credits at the rate established by the platform and displayed at the time of the transaction. The Platform reserves the right to change the conversion rate with no less than 14 days' notice.

3. Payment Methods for Balance Top-Ups

3.1 All payment providers are certified to PCI DSS Level 1 standard.

3.2 Certain payment methods may be unavailable in specific regions.

4. Pricing

4.1 All service prices are displayed in MAG.ONLINE Credits. The equivalent in real currency is shown for reference purposes only.

4.2 Consultation fees are set individually by each Specialist.

4.3 Fee structure (transparent disclosure):

The Platform's 65% covers: payment processing fees (~1.5–3%), platform maintenance, customer support, marketing, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance.

4.4 VAT

Online Payment Solutions OÜ is a VAT-registered entity in Estonia. Where EU VAT applies (including MOSS/OSS for digital services), the applicable VAT is included in the displayed price.

5. Payment Processing and Security

5.1 PCI DSS Compliance

The Platform complies with PCI DSS Level 1 through its payment providers:

  • Stripe — PCI DSS Level 1 certified service provider
  • PayPal — PCI DSS Level 1 certified
  • Adyen — PCI DSS Level 1 certified acquirer

5.2 Card Data Protection

  • The Platform does not store, process, or transmit full card numbers
  • All card data is processed exclusively by certified payment providers
  • Payments are tokenised: card data is replaced with a secure token for recurring charges
  • 3D Secure authentication (3DS2) is applied in accordance with SCA requirements under PSD2

5.3 Fraud Prevention

  • Transactions are monitored in real time
  • Stripe Radar, PayPal Fraud Protection, and Adyen RevenueProtect are used
  • Suspicious transactions may be held for manual review

6. Payment Authorisation

6.1 By making a payment, you authorise the Company to:

  • Charge the full amount displayed at checkout to your selected payment method
  • Store the payment token for future charges (if you choose to save your payment method)
  • Initiate refunds to the same payment method where necessary

6.2 The Company will not charge your payment method amounts beyond those specified at the time of purchase without your explicit consent.

7. Recurring Payments and Subscriptions

7.1 When purchasing a subscription or package, you authorise the Company to automatically charge your payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with the terms specified at checkout.

7.2 Recurring payments are charged automatically on the billing date unless the subscription is cancelled prior to the next cycle.

7.3 You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by writing to support@mag.online.

8. Specialist Payouts

8.1 Specialists receive remuneration of 35% of the fee for each completed consultation.

8.2 Payouts are made weekly (every Monday) for earnings from the preceding week.

8.3 Minimum payout threshold: EUR 100.00. Earnings below this threshold are carried over to the next payout cycle.

8.4 Payout methods for Specialists:

  • Bank transfer (SEPA)
  • PayPal
  • Stripe Connect

8.5 The Platform bears no liability for delays caused by the Specialist's bank or payment provider.

8.6 Payouts may be suspended during investigations of fraudulent activity, chargebacks, or policy violations.

9. Chargeback Policy

9.1 A chargeback is a dispute of a transaction initiated by a cardholder through their bank or card issuer.

9.2 When a chargeback is initiated in respect of a transaction on the Platform, the Company will:

  • Conduct an investigation and collect evidence (booking records, session logs, correspondence history)
  • Where necessary, submit a chargeback rebuttal to the payment provider
  • Temporarily freeze the Specialist's earnings related to the disputed transaction

9.3 If the chargeback is found to be valid: the Client receives a refund through the chargeback procedure.

9.4 If the chargeback is found to be invalid or reversed: funds are returned to the Specialist's balance. A EUR 5 reinstatement credit may be applied.

9.5 Chargeback abuse: Clients who initiate fraudulent or bad-faith chargebacks in respect of completed, legitimate consultations will be blocked from the Platform and may face legal action.

9.6 To prevent chargebacks, Clients are advised to first use the Platform's internal dispute resolution procedure (see the Refund Policy).

10. Failed Payments

10.1 In the event of a failed payment, the Platform will notify you and prompt you to update your payment method.

10.2 Access to services for which payment has not been successfully processed will be suspended until payment is settled.

10.3 The Company bears no liability for losses arising from failed payments due to reasons attributable to the user's bank or payment provider.

11. Taxes

11.1 Clients are responsible for paying taxes applicable in their jurisdiction in connection with purchases on the Platform.

11.2 Specialists bear sole responsibility for declaring and paying income taxes, VAT (where applicable), and any other taxes on their earnings.

11.3 The Platform provides Specialists with annual earnings statements upon request.
